"A week in the Alps" was aspired by riding all the greats; Col de Madeleine, Col de Telegraphe, Col de Galibier and of course L'Alp d'Huez. I'm lucky enough to call these mountains my work place thanks to Alpcycles!
The serpentine of the Alps. One of the most popular Cols and if you are lucky enough, you'll know why. If not, add this to your wish list. Little villages perched cliff side, hair pin corners and narrow roads. Visited regularly by 'le Tour' for all those reasons.
Before cycling could be described in numbers, a long ride was more about you, on your bike, enjoying the basics and taking in what's around you. That's what these posters are about; more of the journey and less of the numbers. I've been lucky enough to do this in the French Alps hence the theme on most. Everyone has their own experience, hope these can spark some memories.
